Luke Lawson

With a career spanning journalism, national sporting organisations and corporate communications, Luke brings a strong understanding of the media landscape and the power of effective storytelling.

Luke began his career as a sports reporter for The West Australian in Geraldton, developing a strong foundation in journalism and media engagement. He later joined Hockey Australia as Media and Communications Manager, overseeing media relations, content and communications for the national sporting organisation.

Now a Senior Consultant at Spoke, Luke draws on this experience to support clients across corporate communications, media relations and strategic storytelling, with a particular focus on building strong media relationships and crafting compelling narratives.

Outside of work, he enjoys playing hockey and getting outdoors. During summer, you'll often find him making the most of Perth's beaches. And his coffee order? A small flat white.
