Nickel has become a hot commodity, with major miners across Australia looking towards investing time, money and resources towards finding more of the battery metal to mine. ASX-listed Widgie Nickel is at the forefront of the critical mineral wave, holding one of the largest known unmined nickel sulphide Mineral Resources in Australia with more than 170,000 tonnes of contained nickel at 1.6% in the Eastern Goldfields. Managing Director Steve Norregaard plans to make the Company’s tenure the epicentre of nickel but says Widgie won’t stop there.
