Like most industries, it’s not about what you know in mining but who you know. Global not-for-profit organisation Young Mining Professionals is endeavouring to connect young up and comers in mining and related industry services through networking and events. YMP Perth’s Brendan Tritton says the local chapter, headquartered in the mining heart of Australia, has more than 1,000 members but that number is expected to grow in 2024.
